My daughter was very excited to have her first doll. I just bought it from a charity shop near the library.
I thought this would be a good exercise for her because when we go to playgroup she always plays with the reborn dolls; she changes their clothes, feeds the baby, and she talks a lot. She imagines a scene and she does role playing. It’s funny because she says the baby is hungry and she feeds them with ice cream.
So, here we are; she got a doll in a buggy, we went inside the library but she got bored pretty quickly so we left. When we were outside she said, “Nanay, I want to take the baby for a walk” but she let go of the buggy with the doll in prompting it to roll down the hill. I told her not to do it because the baby would get hurt, plus the baby doesn’t have clothes yet and its very cold outside.
She was very chatty; she kept talking to the doll as if she’s the mum,
up until we arrived home she could not stop talking about it to her dad. Oh the joy and innocence of a child never fails to amaze me. So I say ’til her next adventure of toys.
