Should I be surprised, be upset or just ignore the changes? Perplexed as I was I knew I did not want to go down the road to destruction.
Our Sunday started pretty well, I haven’t been to Trinity Methodist Church in a while since we live far away now. However, today we went not only because we haven’t been in a while but also we missed our friends especially my little girl’s friends at the Sunday school.
We had a lunch with few friends after the service at a nearby mall and we finished spending time at soft play. That supposed to settle the day – with a big hurrah! but it ended with a sad note saying “when they go low you go high.”
Was that saying supposed to be a good one or a bad one? I must say it is a positive quote. I think when we are in a tough situation it is hard not to be aggressive but I was reminded that nothing good comes out of being aggressive, so I kept myself cool and take the moral high ground. Some very basic principles to do this is a) “do not confront,” b) “never be insulting,” c) “never use profanity,” “never threaten, and may others.” In other words, kill it with your silence.
And so we moved on and continued the fun and finished the play and still ended with a loud Hurrah despite of whatever this changes had caused my despair today. And yes when things go wrong, I just look at my little girl’s eyes and everything is alright.
